MENSWEAR FOCUS: PROVencal understated ELEGANCE

The vibrancy of the Provencal blue is such a stunning contrast to the earthy warm taupe color that anchors it. The blue is reminiscent of the ocean and the taupe the sandy beaches that turn darker with ocean spray. The beauty of the Provencal Kimono in a subtle south of France print lays beautifully over the Japan Kimono's subtleness.  Layering a shorter piece over a longer piece creates symmetry and elogonoares the silhouette- which is always flattering. ;)  I tied the side panels of the Japan  Kimono- something that a lot of my Kimono Men love to do. It looks great worn at the hips and emanates a shirt tied casually in the front. I pulled the sleeves through so that the contrast of color and texture would be visible. Beneath the look I am wearing a cotton lace up black bodysuit with a pair of high waist drop crotch pants. I love the ease of this look and that is absolutely something a man or woman can wear. Unisex styling is something that I adore- as you can amp up the femininity or masculinity in an outfit by playing with accessories. My hat is from Social Butterflies Los Angeles and necklace Mara.
