COSMIC SEQUIN KIMONOS
DIVING DEEPER INTO THE COSMOS
Snow Leopard Nebula by Gizmok
Drawing from the patterns and spots of a leopard and the shades of a sun-lit yellow gold contrasting with black diamonds and highlighted with a muted antique shade of gold with sage green undertones, the micro-sequins are portraying the stars, planets and gas fields that create the constellation of this fabric.

The newest constellation to enter the Cosmic Sequin Kimono series is the Snow Leopard Nebula. Inspired by the Camelopardalis constellation that lies within the northern hemisphere- with meteor showers in the month of October. It was described by a Friar to Sky and Telescope Magazine as “a beautiful cascade of faint stars tumbling from the northwest down to the open cluster". Camelopardalis is an M-type red giant approximately 470 light years distant, if you want to get technical. Or perhaps ponder its magnificence and allow yourself to be swallowed by the endless universes.
