Trenchmono: The Laurel
The Laurel Trenchmono. Inspired by Laurel Canyon's secret bohemian artist hillside homes that are the epitome of L.A.'s rock n' roll legends. The Laurel is a khaki-beige linen fabric that has a luxuriously, voluminous drape to it. It is lightweight yet substantial enough to create a statement.A cool-girl/cool-boy's forever basic.
The Trenchmono is the lovechild of a Kimono and the classic Trenchcoat. Elemental style details include a collar and lapel in the front that join, 3 belt loops in the back and 2 slouchy cool pockets in the front. It also has a 'back-flap' which is a length of fabric across the shoulders- a signature Trenchcoat detail. The trench mono uses 8 yards of fabric that is doubled- so there is air between the two layers, and more weight to it- rendering it more suitable for a coat style. The suggested length is in duster length-which is around mid calf- to ankle length, but of course can be customized.

This Laurel Drop Crotch pant style is cropped at the ankles and has a paneled low-crotch and a 2 inch elastic waist band with 2 side slit pockets.
The Laurel fabric is in an organic cotton linen blend in a camel khaki color.

Inspired by the Camelopardalis constellation that lies within the northern hemisphere- with meteor showers in the month of October. Was described by a Friar to Sky and Telescope Magazine as “a beautiful cascade of faint stars tumbling from the northwest down to the open cluster".
An intricate weave of yellow gold, taupe-gold + black micro-sequins are sewn onto a body of black mesh and lined with a matte silk lining. Black micro mesh sleeves. Lining colors can be customized. Featured is chocolate brown.
