Inspired by the Cosmos, mirrored sequins reflect a myriad of celestial color combinations drawn directly from the very fabric of our Universe, and then woven into the most cosmic of Kimonos The Cosmic Sequin Kimono Collection attempts to merge the mystery, beauty and magic of infinite space within the parameters of fashion and launch dreams of expanding wonder as the wearer navigates through galactic wonders.

“Looking to the cosmos as a way of inspiration for sequin color choices came to me intrinsically. I was reviewing my sequin fabrics and asking myself what do they look/feel like? I immediately saw the cosmos in my mind’s eye and began a deep dive in researching images of galaxies, stars, solar systems, planets and everything in between! I was flooded with a rush of energy- as before my very eyes, each pre-selected sequin pallet in my collection was perfectly matched with the most mesmerizing image taken in space by NASA’s Hubble and Chandra. It was as though a cosmic piece of the infinite puzzle had fit perfectly into place with my art and I had blasted off into space to find it. It was a very cosmic almost meditative, trance like experience. I even consulted astro-physicist enthusiast Jean-Nil Boulanger, my step-father, to show him my findings as though they were scientific, much to his amusement and appreciation. It's metaphysical fashion, nothing more, nothing less."
