1 PART BALLERINA TULLE
1 PART VEGAN ULTRA-SUEDE
Playing with the polarities of feminine and masculine - a very feminine fabric- tulle- made traditionally for prima ballerina skirts- contrast with a sensuous yet heavier textile- ultra-suede (vegan) to add dimension and structure to the more masculine shape of the Trenchmono. Where the lightness of fabric allows air and light to flow against the grounding comforts of a heavier fabric to ground it, still allow it to fly. This is the essence behind the new Chloe Trenchmono.
DESIGN DETAILS
The Body of the Chloe Trenchmono was created with two layers of sheer tulle netting that are bonded but left open and raw at the ends on the hemline and on the sleeves to allow air and light to flow between the veiled fabric. Supple vegan ultra-suede gives structure to the lapel and collar that frames the neckline and heart space, tying in the back-flap and belt, while front pockets and back belt loops are made in tulle.
