BLAZER-MONO
"The Blazer-Mono came from a desire to merge two worlds- the confident menswear inspired power-suits that defined an era in the 80s and the unbound elegance of a timeless Kimono. I wanted to create something that felt both composed and undone, structured, yet fluid... something that represents the dualities that we carry within us.
I have been wearing vintage men's designer blazers for years. I love how they can instantly elevate a look. When we're wanting to feel more put together, a blazer style jacket, does this with its quiet formality that can be styled in your own way- whether casual or chic.
The love of a quality Blazer is something I once again took a visual cue from both parents- my dad with his collection of Hugo Boss and Armani suits in the fast-paced 80's and my mom borrowing the blazer and wearing it her way- with leggings or jeans and a silk blouse. This is how I saw masculine and feminine elements completely transform the way a piece of clothing is interpreted. I also loved the sensuality of a shared piece between two people that love each other. There is deep intimacy in that. "- Rita Ghanime
The Blazer-Mono is a unisex, one-size double-breasted blazer and kimono hybrid that embodies the harmony between softness and structure with flow and grace. Crafted from Italian linen and lined in 100% silk, it drapes as an oversized silhouette with attention to details embedded in its design. Softly structured shoulder pads lend shape to which it is anchored in. A separate tie-strap is stitched onto the inside of the back of the Blazer-mono- so that can be looped through two side slits to cinch in the waist. Four front facing Italian horn, tortoiseshell, or gold brass motif buttons(depending on which Blazer Edition/ Color) punctuate as hardware, with one on the inside to fasten the look. Two flat pockets adorn the front. It's the classic, forever piece you never knew you were looking for.

Born in Los Angeles. Made for the World.
The 'Laurel' fabric, which we first debuted in 2021 (taking namesake inspiration from Laurel Canyon home of 70's rock n'roll royalty icons like Jim Morrison), is the perfect shade of khaki-beige. Evoking the relaxed L.A. lifestyle with an effortless cool that seems to recalibrate the Angeleno DNA toward a more casual rhythm of style and living and is the essence of L.A. The Los Angeles Edition Blazer-mono marks the first launch of a 7 City, 7 Piece Capsule Collection unfolding over the next seven months, with each piece quietly crafted in LA.
More to come on the RITA GHANIME exclusive, elevated and globally expanding experience...
BLAZER-MONO: LOS ANGELES EDITION
"I wanted to start with L.A., the city that has brought me so much inspiration, love and magic for the last 20 years. For the L.A campaign focus look- I paired it with a drop-crotch pant (part of the capsule collection) and a vintage taupe silk bralette. Prior to the shoot, I reviewed the looks with iconic-fashion stylist and co-Church boutique owner, Rodney Burns. Rodney said to me: What does an LA girl wear that's both chic and casual?. A bra and heels. Naked but dressed. That's our it-girl. Put her in the suit with only a bra. Done!'
This was truly the anchor of this collection. Monochromatic muted elegance. Where the body and soul shine through and the bareness of skin shows vulnerability. That to me is sexy."

Jewelry Styling
I gravitate toward bold, statement pieces and timeless, elegant designs that mix effortlessly with vintage treasures. I personally wear mostly my friends that are designers I admire. For the Blazer-Mono campaign, I consulted Maor of M. Cohen- and the team strongly suggested stacking bracelets, necklaces and rings in different tones- gold and silver (as you will see throughout the campaigns) and focus on statement pieces. It's a vibe that feels personal, casual and very intentional but also with an ease and elegance to it. I layered them with vintage elements as well as some of my own personal Mara Scalise items like the strong silver bespoke choker featured in the L.A. Edition campaign.

French-Girl Chic.
BLAZER-MONO: PARIS EDITION
"Parisians are all about investing in timeless classic elements and reinventing them through their own personal lens, and wearing them often. It's a quality over quantity wardrobe philosophy. I chose navy for the Paris Edition because of the classic Mariner pea-coat styles that came to mind and that navy always feels fresh and never outdated. The color is sexy and looks really fantastic on everyone. It's a wardrobe staple. The choice of the gold-toned button was a contrasting and dimensional luxe element that felt retro yet elevated. C'est tres chic. "- RG
