The menswear Shirting Kimono in Baby Blue is perhaps the most classic and popular motif in menswear shirt collections across the board. Interpreted into a Kimono- I love that it feels so effortless and also is so comfortable to wear. I am layering on top of the Faye Kimono in white cotton - and tied it up in the front to give it more of a blousy effect- while tying the belt around my waist. I paired it with a high-rise pair of loose denim trousers that are very 70's in styling from French designer Vanessa Seward and rolled them up to the ankle. This outfit feels very Jane Birkin to me- or even Bridget Bardot. Both of these famous icons of style had a penchant for simplicity in their styling. This is the idea that I would like to leave you with- choose what feels beautiful, easy and cool. Wear something that once you put it on- you don't have to keep adjusting it or think about it. This outfit certainly made me feel this way.
